🧾 Taxes & VAT

The Whittler is a small, independent woodcarving studio based in the United Kingdom.
We are not VAT registered, as our annual turnover is below the current UK VAT threshold (£90,000).

What this means for you:

  • All prices shown on this website are final.
  • No VAT is added to your order at checkout.
  • Your invoice or order confirmation will include the note: “Not VAT registered – no VAT charged.”

If you are purchasing from outside the UK, please note that your local customs office may charge import duties or taxes upon delivery. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility and vary by destination.

📦 Shipping Information

We carefully package every carving to ensure it arrives safely at your door.
All orders are shipped from the United Kingdom using trusted carriers such as Royal Mail or DHL etc.

Processing time:
Orders are typically packed and dispatched within 3–5 business days after purchase.

Estimated delivery times:

  • UK: 2–4 business days after dispatch
  • Europe: 5–10 business days after dispatch – ONLY AVAILABLE ON CERTAIN ITEMS
  • USA & International: 10–20 business days after dispatch – ONLY AVAILABLE ON CERTAIN ITEMS

Please note that international delivery times can vary due to customs checks and carrier delays, especially during peak seasons.

🚚 Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on package weight and delivery location.
You’ll see the full rate before completing your purchase.

Occasionally, promotional offers may include free UK shipping on select items or orders over a certain value—please check our homepage or banner for current offers.

📬 Tracking & Packaging

All items are securely wrapped, often using recycled or recyclable materials.
If your order includes tracking, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number as soon as it ships.
